Join MTS as a Junior Purchasing Associate and support the purchasing team in sourcing hotel supplies, following up with vendors, preparing purchase orders, and keeping product and pricing information accurate.
This role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented junior professional who enjoys working with suppliers, comparing offers, tracking deliveries, and helping internal teams get the right products on time and at the right cost.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily purchasing requests for hotel supplies and operating items
- Request quotations, compare supplier offers, and summarize options clearly
- Prepare and follow up on purchase orders with suppliers and internal teams
- Track delivery status, backorders, and supplier confirmations
- Maintain accurate product, supplier, cost, and pricing records
- Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and finance to support smooth order fulfillment
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or administration
- Good English communication skills, written and spoken
- Strong Excel and data-entry skills
- Organized, accurate, and able to follow up on multiple tasks
- Comfortable communicating with suppliers by phone, email, and messaging apps
Nice to Have
- Experience with hotel supplies, FMCG, retail, or distribution businesses
- Familiarity with ERP systems or purchasing workflows
- Basic knowledge of inventory, delivery terms, and supplier evaluation
- Arabic and English business communication skills
